Easter Questions

1. How do you explain the true meaning of Easter to your children/grandchildren when they are excited about the eggs, bunnies, and candy

RS: We use the carton of Resurrection eggs with a daily Bible reading for the 12 days leading up to Easter. Inside each compartment of the egg carton is an item symbolic of something to do with Easter. You can buy them at the Christian bookstore or make your own.

DW: No good answer for that one… When she was in kindergarten, I remember telling Lizzie about Easter and how Jesus rose and went to heaven to prepare a place for us. Her response was to scream and cry since she thought I was telling her we were moving again. (We moved way too many times when they were young.)
